Account & Data Deletion

DreamsCatcher gives users full control over their account and stored data.
This page explains how account deletion works and what happens when you request it.
1. In-App Account Deletion
Users may permanently delete their account at any time directly within the DreamsCatcher application.
To delete your account:

Log into the application

Navigate to Account Settings

Select “Delete Account”

Confirm the deletion request
Deletion requests may also be submitted via email at support@dreamscatcher.com.au if you are unable to access your account.
For security purposes, identity verification may be required.
2. What Happens When You Delete Your Account
When an account deletion request is confirmed:

Your account profile is permanently removed

Stored dream submissions are deleted

Generated interpretations are deleted
-
Token balances are permanently forfeited
-
Access to the platform is revoked
Deletion is irreversible.
3. Data Retention Exceptions
Certain limited records may be retained where legally required, including:

Financial transaction records required for accounting compliance

Fraud prevention and security logs
Retained data is stored securely and is not used for active processing.
4. Processing Time
Account deletion is typically processed immediately through the in-app system.
Email-based requests are processed within 7 business days.
