Account & Data Deletion

DreamsCatcher gives users full control over their account and stored data.

This page explains how account deletion works and what happens when you request it.


1. In-App Account Deletion

Users may permanently delete their account at any time directly within the DreamsCatcher application.

To delete your account:

  • Log into the application

  • Navigate to Account Settings

  • Select “Delete Account”

  • Confirm the deletion request

Deletion requests may also be submitted via email at support@dreamscatcher.com.au if you are unable to access your account.

For security purposes, identity verification may be required.


2. What Happens When You Delete Your Account

When an account deletion request is confirmed:

  • Your account profile is permanently removed

  • Stored dream submissions are deleted

  • Generated interpretations are deleted

  • Token balances are permanently forfeited

  • Access to the platform is revoked

Deletion is irreversible.


3. Data Retention Exceptions

Certain limited records may be retained where legally required, including:

  • Financial transaction records required for accounting compliance

  • Fraud prevention and security logs

Retained data is stored securely and is not used for active processing.


4. Processing Time

Account deletion is typically processed immediately through the in-app system.
Email-based requests are processed within 7 business days.
