Welcome to Dreamscatcher. By accessing or using our mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Keep your password secure and confidential
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Tokens and Payments

4.1 Tokens

Dreamscatcher operates on a token-based system. Each dream interpretation consumes one token. Tokens do not expire and remain available on your account until used.

4.2 Free Tokens

New users receive three (3) complimentary tokens upon registration. These tokens are subject to fair use policies and may be revoked if we detect abuse or fraudulent activity.

4.3 Purchased Tokens

Additional tokens may be purchased through the Service. All purchases are processed through secure third-party payment providers. Prices are displayed in your local currency where available and are subject to change.

4.4 Refunds

Refund requests are handled according to our Refund Policy. Please refer to ourRefund Policy for detailed information.

5. User Content

5.1 Dream Content

You retain all rights to the dream content you submit. By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to process, analyze, and store your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

5.2 Prohibited Content

You agree not to submit content that:

  • Violates any applicable law or regulation
  • Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Contains malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Is abusive, harassing, or threatening
  • Attempts to exploit or abuse the Service

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, graphics, and AI interpretation engine, is owned by Dreamscatcher and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service without our express written permission.

7. AI-Generated Content

Dream interpretations are generated by artificial intelligence and are provided for entertainment and personal reflection purposes. They do not constitute professional psychological, medical, or therapeutic advice. Always consult qualified professionals for health-related concerns.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dreamscatcher shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may terminate your account at any time through the app settings.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.
